Oddsmakers weigh in on the Huskers and Badgers. Nebraska will take its third swing at getting to six wins when the Huskers take on Wisconsin this weekend, and will do so as an underdog.
Oddsmakers weighed in on the Big Ten West matchup on Sunday afternoon and opened the Huskers as seven-point underdogs to the Badgers.
The Huskers will head to Madison looking to shake off the funk of back to back three-point losses. Nebraska fell two weeks ago to Michigan State 20-17 and followed that with a 13-10 loss to Maryland where three Husker quarterbacks combined to commit five turnovers.
Wisconsin will be looking to rebound, having dropped its last three games. The Badgers fell 24-10 at home to Northwestern, a loss that followed defeats to Indiana and Ohio State. Wisconsin sits at 5-5 overall on the season.
Nebraska has dropped nine-straight games to Wisconsin, last knocking off the Badgers in Lincoln in 2012. Nebraska fell 15-14 last season in Lincoln after the Badgers scored in the final minute on a quarterback sneak to complete a come-from-behind win.
Saturday’s 6:30 p.m. game will be televised on NBC.
