One veteran Nebraska DB is opting to hit the transfer portal coming out of the 2023 season.
Tamon Lynum, a former 3-star recruit from Florida in the 2020 recruiting class, is the latest Husker to hit the portal as of Thursday. Lynum spent 4 seasons in the program and appeared in all 12 games this season.
This past season, Lynum delivered 12 total tackles (10 solo) with a sack, a TFL and 2 forced fumbles in his most extensive playing time in Lincoln.
Lynum was 1 of just 3 Nebraska defenders to force multiple fumbles this season.
Coming out of high school, the 6-foot-2 Lynum was a 3-star prospect out of Florida. He was 1 of 7 players out of Florida to join Nebraska in the 2020 recruiting class.
