Nebraska football makes offer to 2026 wide receiver at Texas camp

The Nebraska football team may have identified one of its early targets in next year’s 2026 recruiting class.

Waxahachie (Texas) wide receiver Kohen Brown announced that he’d received a scholarship offer from Nebraska assistant coach Garret McGuire on Monday. A 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect, Brown is currently an unranked recruit who previously held offers from Sam Houston State, San Diego State, Tulsa and UNLV.

That changed after Brown attended the Mary Hardin-Baylor camp in Belton, Texas, where he worked out in front of NU’s wide receiver coach, McGuire, earning offers from Nebraska and UTEP.

NU coaches also extended a scholarship offer to 2025 defensive lineman Konstantin Paschos at Monday’s camp, marking the first of Nebraska’s two satellite camps in Texas. Husker coaches will attend the Houston Christian Showcase on Tuesday in Houston.
