Recently, the newbie star introduced herself and shared her challenges in her country as a transwoman. In a new clip, Faith shared that she was born as a male, and her name was Rodney. However, she found out that she was a woman while growing up. The TLC star noted that the laws in the Philippines are quite conservative about the LGBTQ community.
Hence, Faith couldn’t get under the knife to change her gender. She noted that her country has several “Ladyboys” and “transwomen.” Interestingly, the Philippines also runs many prestigious trans beauty pageants for the community. Faith revealed that she won “Miss Shining Hair” in 2015 after attending her after-ever beauty pageant.
As per ET, she realized that she wanted to live her life as a “Ladyboy” after the event. She explained that the term is used for people who look like women without a gender transformation surgery. The TLC star shared that she still lives without surgery, which is very expensive. Further, Faith added, “If I have surgery, I just want to love to have boobs.”
