On Saturday, Nebraska’s Dylan Raiola will return to a stadium he’s visited many times before.
A former Ohio State commit who later flipped to Georgia, then Nebraska, Raiola said on Tuesday that he previously attended three Buckeye home games as a recruit. Now, he’ll get his chance to play inside “The Horseshoe.”
“It’s a cool place, never played there and (I) always grew up wanting to play there, so the opportunity’s here,” Raiola said.
Many of the players who Raiola met on visits or perhaps even helped recruit to Ohio State remain on the roster, adding another element to the game that Nebraska’s starting quarterback is looking forward to.
“I have a lot of respect (for) their program and for what Coach Day did and still does,” Raiola said. “I’m happy where I’m at today, but it’ll be fun to go back and kinda be on the other side. (I’ll) see some guys after the game and it’ll be a cool atmosphere to go into.”
