It was the expected outcome for awhile, but Maize (Kan.) High wide receiver Bryson Hayes announced on Saturday night a flip from his Nebraska commitment to Kansas.
The Huskers picked up a commitment from Hayes in April, but the relationship between Nebraska and the wide receiver seemed to change during the fall and the Huskers have continued to pursue several other receivers for the 2025 class.
Hayes, a three-star, chose the Huskers over Kansas early on but the Jayhawks continued checking in on the receiver throughout.
It’s the second flipped commitment between these schools as the Huskers landed Juju Marks last month when the offensive lineman flipped from Kansas to Nebraska in mid-October.
The Huskers have wide receiver commitments from Jackson Carpenter and Isaiah Mozee, but have been hunting for more additions at the position group. That includes getting Michael Terry III on campus several times since his official visit and Oklahoma commitment Cortez Mills on campus for the Colorado game earlier this season.
