Nebraska football landed Jaylen George out of the transfer portal on Tuesday. Nebraska football added depth to its defensive line out of the portal on Tuesday, securing a commitment from East Tennessee State defensive lineman Jaylen George. George confirmed the commitment coming off his official visit to Lincoln.
George visited Nebraska on Monday and Tuesday and will have two seasons of eligibility when he arrives in Lincoln in January.
The 6-foot-2, 265-pound lineman played in 12 games this past season as a redshirt sophomore at ETSU, and made 33 tackles, six tackles for loss and half a sack en route to First Team All-SoCon honors last year. In addition to the visit to Nebraska, George had also been slated to visit Tulsa later in the week and also heard from Buffalo after entering the transfer portal.
George will add depth at defensive end as the Huskers look to bolster their depth after several defensive linemen have entered the transfer portal over the last two weeks.
George is the third transfer portal addition for Nebraska in December, joining long snapper Kevin Gallic and EDGE Williams Nwaneri.
