And the commitments keep coming as Nebraska has received the latest from defensive back Andrew Marshall, who also was a playmaker as a returnman at his previous stop.
The 6-foot, 186-pounder who started every game for the 10-win Idaho Vandals in 2024.
“Merry Christmas,” Marshall posted on social media with a Husker commitment graphic.
Having visited Nebraska and Miami this past week, Marshall was a first-team All-Big Sky selection after breaking up three passes and collecting 42 tackles. He was targeted 59 times, allowing just 34 catches for 365 yards and four touchdowns.
Per Pro Football Focus, Marshall was credited with a 73.9 coverage grade and a strong 79.3 run defense grade.
Adding to the intrigue of Marshall, he also returned a kick and a punt for a touchdown in 2024. Marshall has two more years of eligibility and is the second DB that Nebraska has added in this portal cycle, with Georgia defensive back Justyn Rhett also committing to Rhule’s program.
