Oklahoma State just got faster. The Cowboys earned a commitment from Nebraska wide receiver Jaylen Lloyd, he announced Monday. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
Lloyd, a former three-star athlete from Omaha in the 2023 recruiting class, played in 23 games in his two seasons in Lincoln. He finished his Husker career with 19 catches for 492 yards and three touchdowns.
At 5-foot-10, Lloyd is versatile and agile, as he competed at the state championships in the long jump, triple jump and 100-meter dash as a senior in high school. He ran a 10.5 in the 100m.
Lloyd becomes the third wide receiver Oklahoma State has taken out of the transfer portal this offseason. He joins Auburn’s Sam Jackson V and Purdue’s Shamar Rigby.
Oklahoma State has picked up 21 commitments out of the portal as they look to rebuild their roster with a brand new coaching staff following the 3-9 2024 campaign.
