Nebraska continued to add to its defensive back from in the transfer portal, picking up a commitment from former Arizona cornerback Marquis Groves-Killebrew. He confirmed it with a social media post on Thursday.
The 6-foot, 185-pound Groves-Killebrew visited Nebraska last week and joins the Huskers with two seasons of eligibility remaining in Lincoln.
Nebraska will be the fourth stop for Groves-Killebrew, who began his career at Texas A&M before transferring to Louisville, then on to Arizona.
With Texas A&M as a freshman, Groves-Killebrew appeared in three games, making two tackles. He transferred to Louisville, where he appeared in four games but did not record a statistic.
He moved on to Arizona for his sophomore year where he appeared in 10 games and finished with 26 tackles and four pass breakups. He entered the transfer portal on Dec. 26.
Groves-Killebrew is the third cornerback addition out of the transfer portal, joining Idaho transfer Andrew Marshall and former Southern Illinois corner Jamir Conn. Nebraska also added former Georgia safety Justyn Rhett out of the portal in December.
