Authorities close the case on a criminal complaint filed by Molly that alleged her daughter Olivia was choke-slammed by Molly’s ex, Kelly Brown.
90 Day Fiancé star Kelly Brown’s name has been cleared in the alleged physical altercation case Molly Hopkins’ daughter Olivia made against him. The former cop was introduced in Pillow Talk cast member Molly’s storyline during 90 Day: The Single Life season 1. Molly and Kelly met online, and after his retirement, Kelly moved to Georgia, where Molly is from. However, in November 2022, there were split rumors about Molly and Kelly. He confirmed the same by posting a screenshot of an email which Olivia ended using a racial slur.
Shortly after, 90 Day Fiancé‘s Molly’s daughter Olivia claimed Kelly had allegedly tried to hurt her inside the LiviRae lingerie store. However, according to blogger Merry Pants, the physical abuse allegations reported by Olivia on February 2, 2023, for the event she reported took place on November 21, 2023, “has been closed.”
As per Olivia, Kelly had allegedly grabbed her by her neck, slammed her against the wall, and thrown her to the ground inside the LiviRae lingerie store. But the blogger reports that the police did not find enough evidence to further pursue the complaint. Interestingly, the report also included Molly’s business partner Cynthia Decker’s name.
90 Day Fiancé Star Molly’s Friend Cynthia Reacts To Kelly’s Good News
90 Day Fiancé cast member Cynthia has spoken out on behalf of Kelly after the news was made public. She reposted the update by MerryPants on her own story and added, “So happy your name is cleared @kellykb2022.” Cynthia referred to Olivia’s claims as a “false report” and believes there should be “recourse” for filing them in the first place. She mentioned the report also included “lies” about her being a part of the incident, when she claims she wasn’t. In the report, Molly and Olivia alleged that Cynthia was present for the alleged attack, even when Cynthia kept insisting she wasn’t.
Moreover, the report also alleged Molly’s former friend Cynthia was in possession of footage from the said incident because she had access to the store’s security cameras. Cynthia has again denied this claim. In a since-deleted post on Instagram Cynthia wrote about how many other people had access to the camera, but the camera was unplugged by someone, so she could be prevented from watching the store when she wasn’t around. Molly and Cynthia started the lingerie business together in 2006. It was named after Cynthia’s daughter Rainey and Olivia.
Cynthia and Molly were joined at the hip ever since, they were even on a Lifetime series called Double Divas in 2010 before Molly joined the cast of 90 Day Fiancé season 5 with her now ex-husband Luis Mendes. Molly and Cynthia’s chemistry earned them a spot on Pillow Talk, but soon, Cynthia was replaced by Kelly. In November 2022, Cynthia confirmed she and Molly were no longer friends, and she won’t be back on Pillow Talk. Meanwhile, Molly and Kelly are rumored to have filmed a new 90 Day Fiancé spin-off about couples’ therapy after the alleged choke slam incident between Kelly and Olivia.
