90 Day Fiance couple Jen Boecher and Rishi Singh’s relationship is hanging on by a thread.
He knows that his The Other Way girlfriend had about all she can take when it comes to his family’s rules and interference in their lives. However, he wants to try again to convince her that things can work out between them.
Everything between Rishi Singh and Jen Boecher is about to implode. The 90 Day Fiance partners can’t seem to get on the same page when it comes to the terms of their relationship.
He begs her to reconsider. He wants to be with her and tries to convince her that if given time he can convince his family that she would be the perfect wife for him.
However, she is not buying his line. She knows too well that his family wants her to have nothing to do with him. They are determined he will have a traditional arranged marriage.
Things came to a head between everyone involved during last week’s episode. She and her friends decided it was time his family learn the truth about their engagement.
Even though the 90 Day Fiance star was shocked and angry over what his fiance and her friends did behind his back. Yet he is still willing to forgive her and try and convince his family to accept their relationship.
However, his family is not the only one he needs to convince. He tells her if she’ll give him time to work through this with his family. He believes he can find a solution that works for them all.
She says regardless of whether his family gives them their blessing to marry, she is not willing to live her life on their terms.
The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Oklahoma native refuses to change her ways. She tells her fiance that she is not willing to live in a joint home with his family. She explains that she loves her space and privacy. It is not in her nature to cohabitate with her in-laws.
She would never feel comfortable and free to live her life as she wants. Also, there is another major problem. His family expects him to continue taking care of the family and household responsibilities.
They also expect whoever he marries to do the same. But Jen of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way says that will never happen. She refuses to be anyone’s servant. She tells him that is like giving up her life, and freedom to live in what she believes would feel like a prison.
This is something she is unwilling to compromise on at all. Besides, she adds, she can tell that he is nowhere near ready to leave his family home. This is always going to be an issue between them.
Rishi Singh is annoyed. He feels frustrated that he cannot convince her that he understands. Her fiance tells her they can live nearby his family so he is reachable to them.
He reassures her that if she wants her freedom and privacy he is willing to make that happen. In the end, she tells him she feels he is delusional if he believes this is a compromise his family will accept.
During her TLC 90 Day Fiance confessional, Jen Boecher also says she doubts that his family “will ever budge on letting him leave the family home.” Rishi Singh is determined to prove to he can. Even though she doesn’t see it happening, she hopes he can make this happen and soon.
