90 Day Fiancé star Debbie Johnson could be engaged to her Canadian boyfriend Tony, according to rumors from some eagle-eyed fans. The 70-year-old became a well-known face on reality TV after her 90 Day Fiancé season 6 debut. Debbie, who is from Las Vegas, was the overprotective mother of Colt Johnson and the evil mother-in-law to Larissa Lima. Things changed after Colt divorced Larissa and married Vanessa Guerra.
He realized how meddlesome his mother was and moved out of their home. A lonesome Debbie decided to date again after 13 years after her husband Harley Johnson died.
Debbie met her boyfriend Tony, the landlord of her friend who lives in Canada, and thus began their romance, which made Debbie consider leaving the United States. Debbie’s newest Instagram post is captioned, “We’re at the Richmond Night Market,” which confirms that she’s indeed living with Tony in Canada. She couldn’t believe that she moved to a new country at 70 years old.
Debbie took the chance because she was really in love with Tony, and he loved her too. Her first stint at dating was in The Single Life season 2. Back then, Debbie had gotten a shocking head-to-toe makeover wherein she changed her hairstyle and color, and underwent major weight loss to revamp her entire wardrobe.
But Debbie’s new look failed to impress her date Jay, and she ended up single. Debbie got her happy ending with Tony, however, Colt wasn’t too thrilled with his mom’s decision. He accused Tony of controlling his mom’s life and believed that Debbie chose “the first guy to show up at the door.”
Colt’s rudeness wasn’t something Debbie expected, and Tony was also shocked by what Colt thought of him. Colt accused Debbie of not caring about his late father, and the mother and son duo grew further apart after The Single Life season 3 Tell-All. Debbie and Colt do stay in touch, but the distance between them seems to have grown both geographically and metaphorically too. But Debbie has finally found a person she can really call her own who chooses to be together with her, despite her personal weaknesses.
