90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Mary Demasu-ay is being accused of using emotional manipulation and blackmail as a means of controlling Brandan DeNuccio. The 23-year-old Mary from the Philippines was in a toxic relationship, during which she had been cheated on many times by her boyfriend when she went on a dating app to find American men. Mary met her Justin Bieber-Harry Potter look-alike in Brandan from Eugene, Oregon. Mary managed to get Brandan to be on a video call with her 24/7 after finding out he was getting over a cheating ex-girlfriend himself.
Mary convinced Brandan she was being honest with him when she used to disconnect her Wi-Fi and go meet her male friends. However, in a recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 5, Mary did the unthinkable by asking Brandan to not look around in a church out of fear that he could be looking at other women. Reddit user starcasmnet created a thread where a comment by LeatherRecord2142 read, «This girl needs to be told no and put in her place.»
