Chuck Potthast, a star from the reality TV show 90 Day Fiancé, recently had an eight-hour surgery for a hernia. The TLC star, who is the father of Elizabeth «Libby» Potthast, shared an update from the hospital, letting fans know that the surgery was a success.
A New Health Challenge Chuck has been cancer-free since 2017. However, he has faced other health issues, including a hernia that he developed after having multiple surgeries over a period of ten months. He shared with his social media followers that he was going into the hospital for another surgery to fix the issue.
A Complicated Procedure The surgery was expected to take about three to four hours, but it ended up taking much longer. Chuck explained that during the operation, doctors discovered that his stomach had completely collapsed. This meant the medical team had to spend a full eight hours to fix everything and remove the hernia.
After the surgery, Chuck was exhausted but relieved. He posted a video from the hospital showing that he was recovering well and was happy to finally have his «flat stomach» back. Fans have since expressed their support, wishing him a speedy recovery.
