90 Day Fiancé star Julia Trubkina has made a radical shift in her professional and personal life. After years of quiet activism, the Russian native has announced the launch of a project that combines her passion for animal rescue with her entrepreneurial side—all inspired by the memory of her dog, Simba, who passed away last year.
A legacy born in Russia
Julia shared with her followers that her connection to the rescue world is nothing new:
«My journey began years ago in Russia, where volunteering at dog shelters was a constant in my life.»
However, it was Simba who marked a before and after. Adopted at a year and a half old following a difficult start, Simba became the heartbeat of her home, which she and her family transformed into a hub for training and rehoming dogs in need.
From «Power Chewer» to business idea
The inspiration for her new canine product brand was born out of a real necessity. According to Julia, Simba was a «power chewer» capable of destroying any toy in five minutes. This led her to create her own durable gift boxes for dogs of all sizes. Although Simba lost a long medical battle last year, Julia insists that
«his spirit lives on in this project.»
Selling their home to build a unique sanctuary
But Julia’s plan goes far beyond selling toys. The couple is currently in the process of selling their home to move to a property with more land. The goal? To build a sanctuary specifically designed for long-term shelter residents that are often deemed «unadoptable.»
«Our goal is to provide ‘home-style’ rooms and dedicated training to prepare these dogs for their forever families,»
She explained excitedly.
With this move, Julia is stepping away from the «reality star» persona to establish herself as a key figure in animal welfare, proving that her commitment to the voiceless is the true driving force of her future.
