The social media storm has centered squarely on Cortney Reardanz. Following her tumultuous run on The Single Life and the Hunt For Love special, the TLC star is living through a nightmare: having bet everything on Colt Johnson, only to be betrayed in the most humiliating way possible.
Caught «Red-Handed»
Cortney couldn’t hide her disbelief upon discovering that Colt—whom she had provided with a roof over his head and multiple chances to improve his life—was cheating on her under her own roof. The breaking point came when Cortney confronted him after seeing him send explicit videos to other women while swearing his love to her. Cortney’s response was relentless: «You only care about yourself and your dck,»* she snapped, further reminding him of his erectile dysfunction, his unemployment, and his lack of a home.
The Mistake of a Lifetime? The Sojaboy Factor
As Cortney kicked Colt out, viewers were quick to remind her of the love triangle she shared with Usman ‘Sojaboy’ Umar. During Hunt For Love, Usman was vocal about his disdain for Colt, questioning why any woman would pick a man with «no money, no house, and no loyalty» over him.
Fans have flooded social media with a unanimous sentiment: Cortney ignored every red flag out of a misplaced sense of guilt or loyalty.
«She should have chosen Sojaboy; he has his music career, makes money, and would have been loyal,»
One follower commented on Instagram, while others joked that, at the very least, the Nigerian singer doesn’t suffer from the health issues Cortney threw in Colt’s face.
A Tearless Ending
Despite the pain, Cortney has decided not to shed a single tear for Johnson. After showing him the door and tossing his belongings onto the street, the reality star seems to have learned her lesson the hard way. While some fans believe Usman was the better choice, most agree that both were walking «red flags» and that Cortney’s real prize is finally being single and far away from Colt’s shadow.
