The tangled love life of Liz Woods has taken its most dramatic turn yet. While viewers watched Liz seemingly falling for Villa during her romantic getaway to the Dominican Republic, a dark cloud was hanging over their tropical bliss. It has now been confirmed that Liz wasn’t just «finding herself» abroad—she was keeping a secret fiancé waiting back in the States.
The Bombshell Confession
In a move that left Villa (and the audience) speechless, Liz admitted that she had been seeing someone in America right before her flight to the DR. While Villa confessed his deep feelings for her, Liz’s response was cold and non-committal, claiming she took the trip to see if she «needed someone else.»
The confusion in the DR was palpable, but the real shocker came when the identity of the mystery man was leaked by insiders and prominent bloggers like kikiandkibbitz.
From Best Friend to Fiancé: Meet Alec
The mystery man is not Big Ed, nor is it her former flame Jayson Zuniga. The man who has captured Liz’s heart is her long-time best friend, Alec.
Social media sleuths recently uncovered a collage Liz posted for Alec’s 32nd birthday, where the two looked more than just «platonic.» Even more shocking are reports of a dreamy proposal that took place months ago. Sources confirm that Alec took Liz—and her daughter—up in a hot air balloon for a cinematic proposal that ended with a «Yes.»
Fans React: Team Villa or Team Alec?
The revelation has sparked a massive wave of backlash against Liz. While she seems ready to wrap things up with Villa and return to her life with Alec, fans are accusing her of «double-timing» and playing with Villa’s genuine emotions for camera time. As the season heads toward the Tell All, the «trad wife» transformation of her rival Jasmine Pineda seems tame compared to Liz’s transatlantic love triangle.
