The Nebraska Huskers have officially taken a major step forward in securing one of the most sought-after offensive talents in the Midwest. Kyler Kuhn, a standout prospect from the 2027 class, announced on Friday evening that the Huskers have secured a spot in his highly anticipated top-five list, keeping Nebraska in the hunt for the Missouri native’s commitment.
A powerhouse wrestler with a four-star pedigree Kyler Kuhn is not your average recruit. Standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 280 pounds, the St. Pius X standout is ranked as the No. 197 overall prospect in his class by 247Sports. Beyond his prowess on the gridiron, Kuhn is a dominant athlete on the wrestling mat, having already secured a Missouri state title in the 285-pound heavyweight division.
Nebraska now finds itself in a «blue-blood» battle, as Kuhn’s final list also includes regional rivals Missouri and Iowa, along with national powerhouses Penn State and Oregon.
