The «Pipeline» just got a major reinforcement from the heart of Georgia. Corey Hadley Jr., a highly-touted four-star safety from Sandy Creek, officially committed to Nebraska on Sunday, sending shockwaves through the 2027 recruiting class.
Hadley, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound defensive playmaker, chose the Huskers over a «Who’s Who» of college football, including Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, and Auburn.
Ranked as the No. 12 safety in the nation by 247Sports, Hadley’s commitment is a testament to the relentless recruiting efforts of defensive backs coach Addison Williams.

The bond between Hadley and Coach Williams was the deciding factor. Williams extended Hadley his very first Power Four offer while at UCF, and that loyalty paid off in Lincoln. «Coach Addison keeps it real all the time,» Hadley noted, emphasizing that he chose Nebraska because he wanted a coach who would critique him and push him to be elite, rather than just praising his talent.
With three visits to Lincoln already under his belt, Hadley is locked in for an official visit on June 5. His addition brings Nebraska’s 2027 class to eight commitments, signaling that the Huskers are once again becoming a destination for the nation’s premier defensive talent.
