Nebraska football finally has its schedule dates for the 2025 season. The dates were announced as part of a bigger Big Ten Conference schedule release on Wednesday afternoon.
Nebraska’s non-conference schedule opens with a neutral site game against Cincinnati in Indianapolis on Aug. 30, though that game is expected to move locations.
Nebraska then returns to Lincoln on Sept. 6 when the Huskers will host Akron. Nebraska then wraps up non-conference play with a Sept. 13 game with FCS program Houston Christian.
From there, the Huskers enter Big Ten play with a home matchup against Michigan on Sept. 20, followed by its first bye of the season on Sept. 27. The Huskers face Michigan State at home on Oct. 4, before playing their first true road game of the season at Maryland on Oct. 11, followed by a road game at former Big Ten West foe Minnesota on Oct. 18.
Nebraska then plays back to back home games, hosting Northwestern on Oct. 25 and USC on Nov. 1. Nebraska plays at UCLA in the Rose Bowl on Nov. 8 before a second bye week of the season. The Huskers close the regular season with a road game at Penn State on Nov. 22 and the traditional Black Friday matchup with Iowa on Nov. 28.
